Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate at SM Legal Advocates & Solicitors in Kolkata. The Associate will be responsible for tasks related to Indirect tax (GST, Foreign Trade Policy, Customs, Service tax, Excise, VAT) litigation & advisory services, such as:
Handle IDT litigation and advisory matters.
Drafting of replies, appeals, writ petitions, etc.
Assistance in hearings before various authorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law
0 to 2 years of experience, preferably in tax litigation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
