Outline and Responsibilities:

Critical matter/task management for ongoing cases.

Support Legal Manager to co-ordinate and manage the flow of work within the team to ensure smooth completion of key actions

Central point of contact for tracking project timelines and deadlines

Implementing and maintaining project management tools and systems to streamline workflows and enhance efficiencies.

Monitor project progress and raise any issues arising during the project lifecycle to the Legal Manager

Prepare regular status reports and updates for Legal Manager regarding project progress and potential bottlenecks

Reviewing of legal documents and preparation of summaries as appropriate

Legal research

Support in preparing associated reporting of litigation and regulatory topics - includes initial preparation of reports for key/hot topics and executive briefings for all litigation and regulatory topics for review by Legal Manager and General Manager.

Support with Budget tracking

Interfacing where appropriate with external legal Counsel

Coordinating team responses for objectives tracking and for reporting to Management.

General meeting support and preparation for other team members; and

Providing first class legal expertise on all matters within scope.
