Job Description
Oracle Customer Success Services is a One Oracle approach to ensuring customer success, through a broad set of services and solutions that are supported by certified and experienced implementers, helping to accelerate the entire customer journey. Customer Success Services provides a customer-centric delivery and support-integrated service, in conjunction with Oracle Development. As a sophisticated database support engineer of customer success service organization, you will be responsible to deliver support and services on database, engineered systems and cloud technologies to our premium customers. The support and services covers the entire life cycle of the product starting from architecture design, implementation, optimization, maintenance etc. The role involves working with the customers and ensure they get the best out of our products.

Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on DevOps strategies, practices, and methodologies to optimize software development and delivery processes.
Develop and advocate for best practices in CI/CD, automation, infrastructure management, and monitoring.
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance DevOps practices and achieve organizational goals.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient DevOps architectures, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and containerization solutions.
Ensure alignment of DevOps strategies with business objectives and technical requirements.
Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to integrate DevOps practices into the overall technology stack.
Assess and select DevOps tools and platforms that meet the needs of the organization and support effective automation, monitoring, and management.
Oversee the implementation and configuration of DevOps tools, ensuring they are properly integrated into development and operations workflows.
Provide expertise in the use of tools for source control, build automation, deployment, and monitoring.
Analyze and improve existing DevOps processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance reliability.
Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline development, testing, and deployment workflows.
Ensure effective automation of repetitive tasks and processes to improve overall operational efficiency.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the DevOps team.
Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment on DevOps practices and objectives.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and management to communicate DevOps strategies, progress, and issues.
Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to advance DevOps capabilities and achieve organizational goals.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex DevOps-related issues and incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of problems.
Support incident response efforts and ensure effective handling of critical issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes, architectures, and tools.
Prepare and present detailed reports on DevOps performance, improvements, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Document standard operating procedures and best practices for DevOps activities.
Deep knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
Expertise in DevOps tools and technologies, with a strong understanding of their application and integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
Expert with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
Experience:
6-10 years of experience in DevOps, with significant expertise in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
Proven track record of leading DevOps initiatives and optimizing complex environments.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
