The Role
We're looking for a Senior Legal Executive with 8-10 years of experience to oversee our legal operations, with a primary focus on providing expert legal opinions and managing litigation matters across various Indian jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the legal department, emphasizing legal opinion formulation and litigation management
Provide comprehensive legal opinions on complex business matters and strategic initiatives
Manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy and court appearances
Ensure compliance with relevant Indian laws and regulations
Develop legal strategies aligned with our renewable energy business objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized Indian university; Master of Laws (LL.M.) preferred
Enrolled as an Advocate with a State Bar Council in India
8-10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, with focus on litigation and legal opinions
Strong knowledge of Indian court systems and procedures
Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
Experience in energy or environmental law preferred
